This Beautiful Republic “A Band to Take Notice Of”
Advance media reviews for the debut album from new ForeFront Records band This Beautiful Republic are creating a buzz around the Toledo, Ohio-based act. The dynamic rock disc entitled EVEN HEROES NEED A PARACHUTE hits stores nationwide on April 3.
Christian Retailing magazine makes the album its current "Top Pick" and says, "This Beautiful Republic produces a sizzling debut that will appeal to listeners of Kutless and Sanctus Real and stands as a top rock release of the year."
Suite101.com believes, "This Beautiful Republic should make quite a noise . . . there's an emphasis on fat, anthemic choruses, thundering guitars, and potent lyrics, and the set has the smoothest of flows to it, not surprising considering the band's focus on live shows . . . EVEN HEROES NEED A PARACHUTE will have the rock world sitting up and taking notice for all the right reasons."
InfuzeMag.com says, "This Beautiful Republic crafts memorable alt-rock songs while deftly handling the tension between modern rock and a hardcore edge, between being radio-friendly and yet holding firmly to the ability to simply blow the roof off the place . . . songs like "Black Box," "Something to Deny," and "Going Under" show definite signs of creative life and make TBR a band to take notice of."
