Vicky Beeching’s PAINTING THE INVISIBLE In Stores April 3
Vicky Beeching, special guest on the current Delirious?/Rebecca St. James Worship Revolution Tour of the U.S., will release PAINTING THE INVISIBLE, her second set with Sparrow Records, on April 3.
PAINTING THE INVISIBLE was produced by Dove Award winner Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin) and Nathan Nockels (Passion) and is led by the radio single, "Join the Song," which Beeching actually composed on a piano that belonged to the late worship artist Keith Green.
Explaining the album's unique title, Vicky said, "Trying to describe the Eternal using earthly words is like trying to scoop up the whole ocean into the palm of your hand. Yet, we joyfully struggle for words and continue on our worshipful quest of expressing the inexpressible; describing the indescribable; pronouncing the unspeakable; painting the invisible."
A graduate of England's prestigious Oxford University, Beeching has hosted "New Song Café" webisodes at WorshipTogether.com for the past two years, and her 2005 freshman disc, YESTERDAY, TODAY & FOREVER, was met with great enthusiasm. CCM magazine editor Jay Swartzendruber wrote, "If you haven't heard her debut, you're missing out. The modern worship gem would be a unique complement to any CD library . . . (her) worshipful art is immediately accessible-think thought-provoking pop."
Now, Suite 101 declares, "Listening to Vicky Beeching's PAINTING THE INVISIBLE is like throwing back thick, heavy drapes and drinking in glorious rays of sun after a cold, dark winter."
