Dillon’s WAKING UP Inspires Top Reviews, Contests Galore
Bethany Dillon's third album, WAKING UP, released yesterday (April 3) amidst a rush of great reviews and fun promotional contests. The popular eighteen-year-old singer/songwriter is often noted for being musically and lyrically wise beyond her years as response to this new project confirms.
Comparing Dillon's style to critical favorites Sara Groves and Nichole Nordeman and the early works of Amy Grant, ChristianMusicToday.com calls WAKING UP her best effort yet: "a wake-up call for the senses and the soul. A well-done effort all around."
CCM magazine declares, "This could be a career album for the still young Bethany Dillon . . . leaps and bounds beyond her two previous efforts . . . the best chapter of her ever-promising tenure."
In related news, myCCM.org is sponsoring the Bethany Dillon Write from the Heart essay contest. Between now and May 1, fans can submit a 500-word essay describing a time "when God spiritually woke you up to something new in your life."
