THE BEST OF PASSION (SO FAR) 2-Disc Set In Stores 12/26

Sixstepsrecords presents 30 songs celebrating the first ten years of the Passion worship movement on THE BEST OF PASSION (SO FAR), a special two-disc set in stores everywhere December 26. Featured performers include Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Matt Redman, Charlie Hall, and Christy Nockels.

Unifying the broad selection of music, all tracks on THE BEST OF PASSION were recorded live at past Passion conferences. All told, they represent eleven of the Top 50 CCLI songs being sung in churches today, ten Top 10 radio songs, and six #1 chart hits ("How Great Is Our God," "Blessed Be Your Name," "Indescribable," "All Over The World," "You Are My King (Amazing Love)," and "Holy Is The Lord").

THE BEST OF PASSION also highlights three previously unreleased performances: David Crowder singing "Come And Listen" on the opening night of Passion 06, Shelley Nirider's version of "Jesus, Lover Of My Soul" that closed the OneDay gathering in Memphis, and Chris Tomlin's stirring rendition of "The Wonderful Cross, formerly only available as an iTunes exclusive.

"As we set out on this Passion journey, recording live worship CDs wasn't at the top of our priority list," admits Passion founder Louie Giglio. "Honestly, we were all a little stunned, and still are, as the soundtrack of Passion's wave has continued to circle the globe. While we are symbiotically linked to the songs, our compelling vision stretches beyond music alone as we long to see this collegiate generation - 132 million strong around the globe - awaken to the greatness and goodness of the risen Christ."

The release of THE BEST OF PASSION comes on the eve of the Passion 07 conference scheduled for January 1-4, 2007, in Atlanta, Georgia.
