Matt Redman Bringing BEAUTIFUL NEWS Dec. 26
2006 GMA Music Award winner Matt Redman will release an all-new studio album, BEAUTIFUL NEWS, via sixstepsrecords on December 26, 2006. The worship-driven set is led by first single "You Never Let Go," already a top ten hit at adult contemporary Christian radio.
Redman describes the new project as a collection of songs of salvation and action oriented evangelism, taking the beautiful news to the broken world and bringing hope in a time of despair.
"In this world we hear so much news, and a lot of the time it' disturbing, dark or depressing. But the gospel of Jesus Christ is all together different - it's refreshingly good news, beautiful news."
BEAUTIFUL NEWS is produced by Doubledutch (tobyMac, Mat Kearney) and includes collaborations with Delirious? frontman Martin Smith on "Take It To The Streets" and "All Over The World." Other new tunes include "Thank You For Healing Me," "Shine," "A Greater Song" (co-written with Paul Baloche), and "Fearfully & Wonderfully Made."
Redman won the Praise & Worship Album of the Year GMA Music Award last April for BLESSED BE YOUR NAME: THE SONGS OF MATT REDMAN VOL. 1, featuring live versions of his widely known modern church favorites including the title track, "The Heart Of Worship," "Let My Words Be Few," and "Better Is One Day" among others.
The British-born Redman is sure to perform many of these selections at the Passion 07 worship conference that will be held January 1 - 4 in Atlanta, Georgia. Learn more at http://www.268generation.com/.
