    Re: please pray

That is a weird prayer request. I won't be praying for that because I don't think God would answer that prayer request. But I hope you get those shoes off ebay that you wanted.

    Re: please pray

I'm sure that is what you think. In my opinion God doesn't answer all prayer requests. I have prayed for a lot of things I don't think I have got answers for all of them. God does answer prayers just not all of them. Anyways that is my opinion about that.

    Re: please pray

You may not have answers yet. But you will get them. I can't quote the book or the verse but it says so in the Bible that God answers "ALL" prayer requests. I just got an answered prayer like a week ago, that I prayed about like 2 years ago, I know for a fact he answers all of them.

    Re: please pray

Sometimes He says yes, sometimes He says no. He does require that we treasure heavenly things above all, because if you love hte world, you will perish with the world (Matthew 6:19-21, 24; 1 John 2:15-17).

"If you are not eternal friends, are you really friends at all?"~Mark Cahill
150,000 people die every 24 hours. The sad thing is, most of them are not going to Heaven, because they don't know the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
"I am perplexed by Christians who treat the Gospel as though it is the best of a host of options for people to consider....when in fact there is no other option." ~David Brickner

I agree completely. I was just thinking today that say for example for I wanted all of these Christian CD's and I prayed to God so I could have them then that wouldn't be right as God doesn't want material things of this world like shoes or whatever. God only wants you to know and get you to know Him more so He can use you in where ever you are. You need to pray about things that are important like growing closer to God or God showing you what you are doing wrong in your life with your sins. God can change your life instead of wanting things that don't last on this earth as we need to store up treasures in Heaven and not store up treasures on earth because they will just burn into nothing when Jesus comes back to earth when ever that is. Just remember that the next time you pray not to pray for things you want but pray for things that God wants you to do.

I never said weather he would say yes or no. I just said he answers all prayers.

    Re: please pray

It's ok. It wasn't stupid you didn't know about praying about the right things like what God wants you to do in your life. You didn't waste my time because it brought up a good discussion to pray about things that can help other people in this world who don't know about Christ or God and pray for them. Jump5freak4life you quoted me and I was saying nothing about if He answers prayers or not. I was just agreeing with Joshua as God can answer prayers but some times He doesn't. It's just your opinion that you think that God answers all prayers whether it's a yes or no. We all just have different opinions on prayer just I don't agree with you that He answers all our prayers.

I always quote everyone for no reason, it's just a habbit. But like I said I know that it's in the BIble somewhere, and that's what I'm standing by, and that's what I'll always stand by.

    Re: please pray

It's good you stand by the Bible for everything because there is real truth in the Bible. Just I don't stand by the Bible just what I know about prayer and form it into my own opinion of prayer. Ok I guess it's your habbit that you can't quit about quoting everyone but I guess you can't break the habbit you will probably quote me no matter what. I will have to get use to it then. When you find where it says in the Bible about God answering all our prayers then please post it because I would like to see if the Bible does say about God answering our prayers or not.

Yes, if I find it I will post it. I'll ask my pastor to see if she can tell me directly where it is.
