Ok - so i ran out today to get my copy of Recollection.  And i haven't listend to the whole thing yet - but i noticed right away that the part of the second verse of "to know you" has been remixed - and actually reSUNG in parts. 

 It's fine n all, but i'm just wondering why she felt the need to change the parts she did. It was strange because i wasn't expecting it.

 Actually, i think it woulda been pretty cool if she just re-recorded each song for recollection. =)

 I ALSO noticed that Mark Hammond produced her 2 new songs.... I'd like to think she read my post and took note. ;)  hee hee.   shhhh - just let me think that ok? :P

 NOW all Nichole needs to do is do a little "Recollection Tour".  I'd love to see her play a couple of these songs live..... "Why" would be great to see live.  But she has SO MANY of these "Women of Faith" appearances......  sheesh, i can't show up at "Women of Faith" concert!!  no fair.  well.... i suppose i COULD...but that might seem kinda weird..... 

 ****ANYWAY***** hey nichole - you should come play at Crossroads Church in Corona, Ca.... we have a sweet Yamaha grand piano that used to belong to David Bowie..... i think you should come play it. ;)

 I don't get all the WOF appearance.  Gesh.  They probably pay well and expose to her demographic easily.  It's the rewards of years of touring bad gigs I reckon.

 I just downloaded the two new songs.  I have this thing - greatest hits are wastes of money to me if I already have the first CD.  However, are there any new pictures in there?  Now, if she would have done a "live at the door" greatest hits thing that would have been cool.  I just can't wait for the new stuff!!!

 

Still keeping an eye out for the accompanying video for "Finally Free."

I realized that at least one of the songs seemed to be resung as well... I was wondering whether it was just me. Guess not!

I listened to the new songs and they were both good songs. I also heard To Know You and it could have been resung but I didn't notice when I was listening to it.

I've never heard "To Know You" before Recollection...so I wouldn't know. I love the song though.
