I am hopefully going to play the piano part for this song with a band I am in, but I can't quite get the measure right before Bethany starts singing.  Can anyone help me?  I'm not that great at playing piano by ear!

I will give you this bad news, there is not a songbook of sheet music from "Waking Up."  I would suggest that you contact Hal Leonard via http://www.halleonard.com/contact.jsp and request the sheet music.  The more requests, the more likely they will obtain the rights to print the songbook. 

It's an E chord to a B - G# G# G# G# F# F# E (the melody line with an E above middle C below all those notes)

              low E (before)B B B B B  oct. lower B  then B below middle C again
