    Re: Splendora21

I'm trying to decide whether I want to get Halo or buy a wheel for GTR2. Since racing season just started I'm leaning more towards the wheel.

What kind of intense games do you play? Shooters?

Go with your gut. Or your head. Whichever doesn't crave food at 1 am.

SPLINTER CELL! Oh Lord talk about intense! If you EVER play a SC game, play the first one. It's sooooo hard. Intense. Crazy intense.

    Re: Splendora21

Neither of them do. But I think I'll go with the wheel. I'm hoping it will improve my lap times.

I think I looked in to that game a little bit once, but after I learned it wasn't like Rainbow Six I became disinterested.

    Re: Splendora21

Ok cool. Those wheels are fun.

That's the point. It's not like any other game. The same company developes them both though. But try it. 97% of people I recommend it to say they love it.

    Re: Splendora21

The problem was at the time I was looking for a more strategy-based shooter, like Rainbow Six. If I wanted a more general shooter I could play the ones I already have or buy Halo.

    Re: Splendora21

Yeah. Rainbow is pretty strategic. Cause you don't want the terrorists to kill the hostages and/or detonate the bomb. I enjoy Rainbow. Fun Game. Which one do you have? If you have Vegas I'm going to scream out of jelousy.

OK. But I think you should give SC a try. Especially if you're bored.

    Re: Splendora21

I have Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six for the Nintendo 64. What's Vegas? I've never heard of it.

Problem is, even if I am bored I'm not likely to spend even the $5 to rent the game.

    Re: Splendora21

It's one of the newer Rainbow games. They came out with a RSV:2 already, and the first RSV came out last year. I'm beginning to think Ubi is pushing their games out, than to take time to make them good. But the RSV is a newer one where you are based in Sin City. The only downside is that in the earlier Rainbow games, they don't cuss. But in the newer ones, they do. Like, bad. So I don't think I'll be allowed to play it.

Well, you're missing out then. But keep up with the games you love.

    Re: Splendora21

What system is it for? Doesn't sound like it's on a Nintendo system.

Thanks. Another problem is that I don't have as time to play as I used to, so when I do buy Halo it's probably take me so long to beat it that the next Halo game would probably be out by then.

    Re: Splendora21

As far as I know it's only on X360. But it could be on the PS3 as well.

All the Halo games are out except for HaloWars, so you don't need to worry.

    Re: Splendora21

If I ever get bored it's something I could look into. Seeing as how I have a 360 and all.

    They're not gonna make a Halo 4?

    Re: Splendora21

    Yes. definetly.

Well, they could, but there is basically no more story left. Cause **SPOILER** Halo 3 ends with the war ending, so and Master Chief is stuck in a ship, so they couldn't make a good story line. It would be really cool if they made the movie, and at the part where Halo 3 left off, they fast forwarded and made it like, soldiers looking back and remembering the war. But to answer you, no. I doubt it. They would have nothing to build on.

    Re: Splendora21

For right now I have Mario Kart planned for May and Wii Fit planned for June, which leaves the window open for Halo in July.

Bungee could always make another shooter, couldn't they?

    Re: Splendora21

    Cool. Mario Kart rocks.

Yeah, but not in the Halo line. Bungie made a shooter I think before H1 called "Mythe" cause it mentions it in a cheat thing for H1. But Halo can't go on. Unless (and this would rock my socks) They made one where it was based on the "Fall of Reach" novel, and the other "in between game" Halo books. OOOH they should do that.

    Halo's based on a novel?
