Okay.  I've been a huge fan of Rebecca for a LONG time.  I went to Alive Festival this past summer and she not only performed but she spoke.  I was absolutely blessed by her words of wisdom and her extraordinary way of portraying her love and passion in song.  Although she didn't sing this song there, "Wait for Me" is my favorite song by her.  Now, I'm only 15, but because I made that vow a long time ago, I've made a promise to myself that that song will be the theme of a wedding (if there is one) in the future.  I've read the book and everything.  This is her best work ever.  In my opinion that is.

Your not alone. I do agree with you. Wait For Me is a great song and ever since I heard Wait For Me then it made it a song to live by since RSJ is waiting for the right guy to come along so I will wait for right girl to come along. I know God has the right woman out there for me. Don't lose hope as God has the right guy out there for you.

Thank you!  I, too, am waiting for the right guy.  I've made a promise that I will not look for the perfect guy, or I'd be looking forever and might miss out on what God wants for my life.  That was my mistake in the first relationship.  I looked for perfection and God took away the calling on my life.  I realized my mistake, corrected it, and now I'm walking in the will of God.  Be careful...don't make the same mistake as me.  It's not worth it.

Your welcome. Yes it isn't good to try perfection in a guy by yourself since only God knows the perfect guy for you. I haven't even dated or went out looking for a the right girl as I waiting for the right girl to come along as I know God has the right girl for as I just have wait for God to bring her to me.

That's wise.  I admire you for that.  I mean, in the mean time, you can work on being the best partner you can be.  I don't know how old you are, but I'm sure you have plenty of time to think about finding a girl.  I mean, I'm 16 this month and let's just say I'm done for a while.  It's like I read in Rebecca's book, unless I'm within 3-4 years of getting married, I don't really NEED a boyfriend...and you know what...I can wait.  I've made a decision...I know what God wants me to do with my life and it's gonna happen with OR without a guy.

Ijust want to say this- I'm getting married in 2 months.  I"m 21 now and "Wait for Me" was a song that was very dear to my heart during my teenage years.Iwould sing it and listen to it often.  I can proudly say I've waited and by no means has it been easy, but by the grace and strengh of God alone am I waiting for my wedding day:) YAY!!!!  Sooooo all that to say, thanks so much rebecca for your encouragement. For promoting abstinence and standing up for truth.  This young girl listened & is really excited about 2 months for two months from now!!!!!!
